Hoffstot’s Cafe Monaco is located in Oakmont, Pennsylvania, only fourteen miles northeast of downtown Pittsburgh.
We’ve been around for over 40 years, and are a favorite destination of wonderful loyal customers not just in Oakmont, but across the city and from out of town.

At Hoffstot’s our features include seafood, pasta, veal, Italian specialties, poultry, specialty salads, sandwiches, steaks and chops; all in addition to the chef’s innovative specials and “creative sides”.
The Monaco family purchased “Hoffstot’s” in 1971 keeping its original name and very small establishment. When the bank beside Hoffstot’s closed they bought the building and opened another smaller restaurant named “Cafe Monaco” which boasted a different menu and dining atmosphere.
In 1990 they renovated both restaurants creating a new look, larger seating capacity, larger bar area, a new menu & changed the name to “Hoffstot’s Cafe Monaco”. Dan and Tom Monaco have owned and operated Hoffstot’s for 42 years and it has become landmark restaurant in Oakmont. They are very much “hands on” owners and many of the employees have been here for 15-20 years.
